The society undertakes various projects that celebrate the history and heritage of the town, and we also work with partners on projects that promote the health and appeal of the town. Some are traditional projects that many Civic Societies undertake whilst others are more unusual and unique.Â

Spalding MARK-IT Trail
MARK-IT is the new name for our long term joint Market Art Project with Transported Art to bring artworks into the town centre recalling the towns past as a market for all forms of livestock and produce. Click on the image below to find out more.

Spalding in Bloom
Spalding in Colour is a project by Spalding BID which we are happy to support. The aim is to deliver a fabulous floral display in Spalding by bringing volunteers together and eventually give a reboot to Spalding in Bloom.

Our efforts rely on volunteer members from all walks of life who give up their time. Like any organisation, the more who volunteer their time, the more we can do. We always strive to persuade decision makers of the merits of our case, but are not afraid to take a strong line should it be necessary.
