As a non-political, volunteer-led organization, Spalding & District Civic Society aims to bring together individuals who care deeply about the character, vitality, and future of our town and its surrounding district. Our mission is to champion thoughtful development, protect local heritage, and to encourage a greener, more vibrant town.

By becoming a member of the society you will be demonstrating that you want what we want. A town that we can all be proud of.
Membership of the Society will provide you with the following benefits:-

• A members’ newsletter published three times a year.
• Free entry to talks and events organized by the Society.
• Discounts on any society merchandise or on trips organised by the Society.
• An opportunity to meet with others who care as much about Spalding as you are.
• An opportunity to put forward proposals for ways in which we can help make the town better than it already is.
• An opportunity to become involved in the work of the Society.
• An opportunity to stand for our committee.

Membership is only £8.00 per year (£12 from 2027), or £12.00 (£18 from 2027) for two people in the same household. We also offer free membership for those in full-time education.
